Violinist Maya Bennardo (she/her) is an active performer, improvisor, and composer living in Stockholm, Sweden. Maya is passionate about opening the dialogue between composers and performers, and is devoted to performing and collaborating on music of the present. She performs new and traditional repertoire for violin and piano with pianist Karl Larson in their Bennardo-Larson Duo, and is a former member of the internationally renowned Mivos Quartet. She has been featured performing new solo and chamber music around the world at venues and festivals including Walt Disney Hall on Noon to Midnight (Los Angeles, CA), Lucerne Festival Academy with Saul Williams (Lucerne, CH), De Bijloke (Ghent, BE), North Sea Jazz Festival with Ambrose Akinmusire (Rotterdam, NE), June in Buffalo (Buffalo, NY), Lincoln Center Festival (NYC), and Strings of Autumn (Prague, CZ). Maya’s debut solo album was released September 2022 on kuyin editions featuring works by Eva-Maria Houben and Kristofer Svensson.

Violist Hannah Levinson (she/her) is an in-demand performer of contemporary and classical music based in Ohio. In addition to andPlay, she is a member of the Talea Ensemble, and previously a member of the Albany Symphony and the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra. Hannah has recently been featured as a soloist and chamber musician at The 2024 Venice Biennale, Carnegie Hall, The Stone, 92Y, Miller Theater, Willamette Valley Chamber Music Festival, June in Buffalo, and the Andy Warhol Museum, and at international festivals including the Kroch Festival (Stockholm), Musikprotokol Festival (Graz), Projektgruppe Neue Musik (Bremen), and Festival Musica (Strasbourg). Hannah is currently the Assistant Professor of Viola at Bowling Green State University. Previously, she held teaching positions as Music Artist Faculty at NYU Steinhardt and at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege.
